DISABILITY SERVICES AND INCLUSION ACT 2023 - SECT 32

Delegation by the Secretary

  (1)   The Secretary may, by writing, delegate to an SES employee, or acting SES employee, in the Department any or all of the Secretary's functions or powers under the following provisions:

  (a)   subsections   9(2) and (4) (specifying a day to obtain a certificate of compliance);

  (b)   section   22 (certificates of compliance);

  (c)   section   25 (approval of accrediting authority).

Note:   Sections   34AA to 34A of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 contain provisions relating to delegations.

  (2)   In performing any functions, or exercising any powers, under a delegation under this section, the delegate must comply with any directions of the Secretary.
