Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The rules may require a person to whom an export permit was issued to return the permit to the Secretary:
(a) in the circumstances prescribed by the rules; and
(b) at the time, or within the period, prescribed by the rules.
(2) A person is liable to a civil penalty if:
(a) the person is required to return an export permit to the Secretary under rules made for the purposes of subsection (1); and
(b) the person fails to comply with the requirement.
Civil penalty: 60 penalty units.
