HIGHER EDUCATION SUPPORT ACT 2003 - SECT 137.20

    Upon the death of a person who owes a * HELP debt to the Commonwealth, the debt is taken to have been paid.

Note:   HELP debts are not provable in bankruptcy: see subsection   82(3AB) of the Bankruptcy Act 1966 .
