(1) The person reviewing the original decision must give the applicant written notice of the decision on review. The notice must include:
(a) the reasons for the decision on review; and
(b) any findings on material questions of fact, including references to evidence or other material on which those findings were based; and
(c) notice of any right to have the decision on review reviewed by the Administrative Review Tribunal.
(2) If:
(a) under subsection 124ZL(4), the person reviewing the decision decides to:
(i) vary an original decision; or
(ii) set aside an original decision and substitute a new decision; and
(b) the decision on review is made after a person has applied to the Administrative Review Tribunal for review in relation to the original decision;
the application to the Administrative Review Tribunal is taken to be an application for review of the decision as so varied or set aside, and the Secretary must give written notice of the decision on review to the Registrar of the Administrative Review Tribunal.
