Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) As soon as practicable after the Minister makes a decision to grant, or not to grant, a Basel import permit authorising the import of hazardous waste from a particular foreign country, the Minister must give the competent authority of the country a written notification of the decision.
(2) A contravention of this section in relation to a decision does not affect the validity of the decision.
