Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Independent National Security Legislation Monitor may resign by giving to the Governor - General a signed notice of resignation.
(2) The resignation takes effect on the day on which it is received by the Governor - General or, if a later day is specified in the resignation, on that later day.
