Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) Sections 1 to 12 and Schedules 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10 commence on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent.
(2) The items set out in the Schedules other than Schedules 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10 commence on a day or days to be fixed by Proclamation.
(3) If an item referred to in subsection (2) does not commence under that subsection within the period of 6 months beginning on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent, it commences on the first day after the end of that period.
