MILITARY JUSTICE (INTERIM MEASURES) ACT (NO. 1) 2009 - SCHEDULE 2
Punishments that may be imposed by a court martial or a Defence Force magistrate
Section 67
1. Subject to clause
2, a court martial or a Defence Force magistrate may impose punishments on
convicted persons in accordance with the table in this Schedule.
2.
A restricted court martial or a Defence Force magistrate shall not
impose any of the following punishments:
(a) imprisonment for
life;
(b) imprisonment for a period exceeding 6 months;
(c) detention for a period exceeding 6 months.
