Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) If, under section 15A, the Health Minister requires the Finance Minister to debit a specified amount from the Medical Research Future Fund Special Account under this Subdivision, the Finance Minister must, by writing, direct that, on a specified day, the specified amount is to be debited from the Special Account to make a grant to a corporate Commonwealth entity for the purposes of supporting medical research and medical innovation.
Note: The Health Minister must publish on the internet information about the grant--see section 58.
(2) Two or more directions under subsection (1) may be set out in the same document.
(3) A direction under subsection (1) is not a legislative instrument.
(4) The Finance Minister must give a copy of a direction under subsection (1) to the Treasurer and the Health Minister.
