Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Secretary may, by writing, authorise a person to whom powers and functions can be delegated under subsection 100ZE(1) to conduct inspections of ships for the purposes of verifying that ships meet the requirements necessary for ISSC verification.
(2) If a person authorised under subsection (1) conducts a ship inspection, the person is taken to be a maritime security inspector for the purposes of subsection 100Z(1).
