MARITIME TRANSPORT AND OFFSHORE FACILITIES SECURITY ACT 2003 - SECT 112

    In establishing an on - board security zone on a regulated Australian ship, the Secretary must:

  (a)   have regard to the purpose of the zone; and

  (b)   take into account:

  (i)   the operational features of the ship; and

  (ii)   the views of the ship operator for the ship.
