Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Governor - General may, in writing, revoke a national emergency declaration if the Prime Minister is satisfied that, in all the circumstances, it is appropriate to do so.
(2) A revocation made under subsection (1) is a legislative instrument, but section 42 (disallowance) of the Legislation Act 2003 does not apply to the revocation.
