Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) A provision of a State law implementing a NEPM that applies in a Commonwealth place in a State because of the operation of the Commonwealth Places (Application of Laws) Act 1970 does not extend to activities carried on in that place by or on behalf of the Commonwealth or a Commonwealth authority, except to the extent that it so applies under this Act.
(2) A provision of a State law or a Territory law implementing a NEPM does not extend to activities carried on by or on behalf of the Commonwealth or a Commonwealth authority anywhere other than in a Commonwealth place in a State, except to the extent that it so applies under this Act.
