Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated ActsA representative body must do all things necessary to ensure that payments out of the money of the body are correctly made and properly authorised, and that adequate control is maintained over:
(a) the assets of, or in the custody of, the body; and
(b) the incurring of liabilities by the body;
to the extent that the payments, or the assets or liabilities, relate to the performance of its functions or the exercise of its powers.
