Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Joint Authority must give directions to the State Minister about the manner in which the State Minister is to exercise the powers conferred by sections 11, 12 and 13.
(2) A direction under subsection ( 1) must relate to a particular petroleum exploration permit, petroleum retention lease or petroleum production licence .
(3) The State Minister must comply with a direction under subsection ( 1).
(4) A direction under subsection ( 1) is not a legislative instrument.
