Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Secretary may, by writing, delegate all or any of the Secretary's powers and functions under this Act or the regulations, or under any of Parts 2 to 7 of the Regulatory Powers Act (as those Parts apply in relation to this Act), to:
(a) an SES employee or acting SES employee in the Department; or
(b) for a power or function under section 66 or 67 of the Regulatory Powers Act--an inspector.
(2) In exercising powers or functions under a delegation, the delegate must comply with any directions of the Secretary.
