Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The rules may require a person who imports or supplies emissions - controlled products to make and keep records in relation to the imports or supplies.
(2) A person contravenes this subsection if:
(a) the rules require the person to make or keep a record; and
(b) the person fails to comply with the requirement.
Strict liability offence
(3) A person commits an offence of strict liability if the person contravenes subsection ( 2).
Penalty: 40 penalty units.
Civil penalty provision
(4) A person is liable to a civil penalty if the person contravenes subsection ( 2).
Civil penalty: 80 penalty units.
