Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Secretary may disclose information obtained under this Act to:
(a) the Australian Border Force (within the meaning of the Australian Border Force Act 2015 ); or
(b) an agency, body or person prescribed by the rules;
if the Secretary reasonably believes that the information will enable or assist the agency, body or person to exercise its powers, or perform its functions or duties.
Note: Subsection 51 ( 6 ) has requirements relating to rules made for the purposes of paragraph ( b).
(2) This section does not limit any other powers the Secretary has to disclose information to a person.
