Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated ActsDespite the repeal of the Private Health Insurance Incentives Act 1998 , the Commonwealth and the Chief Executive Medicare (within the meaning of the Human Services (Medicare) Act 1973 ) may exercise powers under Division 18 of that Act (other than powers under section 18 - 15) in relation to the matters mentioned in that Division, as if it had not been repealed and as if references in that Division to the Medicare Australia CEO were references to the Chief Executive Medicare.
