Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Secretary may, in writing, delegate to the person occupying an office in the Department all or any of his or her powers under this Act other than his or her powers under section 7A, 26, 27A, 27B or 32.
(1A) The Secretary may, in writing, delegate to an SES employee in the Department, who is at or acting at Band 1 or 2 level, the Secretary's powers under section 27B.
(2) A delegate is, in the exercise of a delegated power, subject to the directions of the Secretary.
