Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1.) Section thirteen o r the Principal Act is amended by omitting sub-section (1.) and inserting in its stead the following sub-section:--
"(1.) A member of other person who is in receipt of a parliamentary allowance shall contribute to the Fund at the rate of eleven and one-half per centum of the rate of the parliamentary allowance that he is, from time to time, entitled to receive.".
(2) Deductions at the rate fixed by section thirteen of the Principal Act, as amended by this Act, shall be made, in accordance with sub-section (2.) of that section, from every payment of parliamentary allowance in respect of a period commencing on or after the date of commencement of this Act.
