Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Parliamentary Budget Officer, under the Presiding Officers, is responsible for managing the Parliamentary Budget Office and must advise the Presiding Officers in matters relating to the operation and administration of the Parliamentary Budget Office.
(2) The Parliamentary Budget Officer must assist the Presiding Officers to fulfil the Presiding Officers' accountability obligations to the Parliament and provide factual information, as required by the Parliament, in relation to the operation and administration of the Parliamentary Budget Office.
