Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated ActsWithout limiting its effect apart from this section, this Act also has the effect, and is taken always to have had the effect, it would have (or would have had) if each reference to an entity were, by express provision, confined to a reference to an entity that is:
(a) a corporation to which paragraph 51(xx) of the Constitution applies; or
(b) an entity that carries on business in a Territory;
(c) an entity engaging in acts or practices in the course of, or in relation to, trade or commerce:
(i) between Australia and places outside Australia; or
(ii) among the States; or
(iii) within a Territory, between a State and a Territory or between 2 Territories.
