Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) Subject to this Act, a person appointed as Convener or as a councillor holds office for the period specified in the instrument of appointment.
(2) A person may not hold office for a period of more than 5 years but is eligible for reappointment.
