Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated ActsThe Governor - General may make regulations, not inconsistent with this Act, prescribing all matters which are required or permitted to be prescribed or which are necessary or convenient to be prescribed, for carrying out or giving effect to this Act, and in particular prescribing matters providing for and in relation to:
(a) the appointment and tenure of office of prescribed authorities;
(b) the summoning of witnesses, the taking of evidence on oath and the production of documents; and
(c) penalties, not exceeding 1 penalty unit , for offences against the Regulations.
