1995 No. 250 INTERNATIONAL WAR CRIMES TRIBUNALS REGULATIONS - REG 9

9. A magistrate may:

   (a)  administer an oath to a person appearing as a witness before the
        magistrate; and

   (b)  examine the witness on oath. (Note: Under paragraph 27 (b) of the
        Acts Interpretation Act 1901, the word

"oath" is taken to include affirmation in the case of a person who is allowed
by law to affirm.)
