MUTUAL ASSISTANCE IN CRIMINAL MATTERS (MALAYSIA) REGULATIONS 2006 (SLI NO 292 OF 2006) - REG 4

                For paragraph 7 (2) (a) of the Act, the Act applies to Malaysia subject to:

                (a)    the Treaty between the Government of Australia and the Government of Malaysia on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters done at Putrajaya in Malaysia on 15 November 2005, a copy of the text of which is set out in Schedule 1; and

               (b)    an exchange of notes on 7 December 2005, relating to the Treaty, a copy of the text of which is set out in Schedule 2.
