1 Name of Regulations
These Regulations are the Protection of the Sea (Prevention of Pollution from
Ships) (Orders) Regulations 1994.
[2] Regulation 4

4 Offences
- (1)
- A person must not fail to comply with a provision of an order, made under
subsection 34 (1) of the Act, that is expressed to be a penal provision.
Penalty:
- (a)
- 20 penalty units; or
- (b)
- if the person is a corporation 50 penalty units.
- (2)
- An offence against subregulation (1) is an offence of strict
liability.
