CRIMINAL APPEAL ACT 1912 - SECT 23
Writs of error abolished
23 Writs of error abolished
(1) Writs of error, and the powers and practice now existing in the Supreme
Court in respect of motions for new trials, and the granting thereof in
criminal cases, save as aforesaid, are hereby abolished.
(2) Sections 428,
470, 471, 472, 473 and 474 of the Crimes Act 1900 are repealed.
