CRIMINAL PROCEDURE ACT 1986 - SECT 247C
Definitions
247C Definitions
(1) In this Division--
"appearance order" means an order for the appearance or apprehension of a
person made under section 246.
"court" means-- (a) the Supreme Court, or
(b) the Land and Environment Court,
or
(c) the District Court.
"preliminary conference" means a conference held under section 247H.
"preliminary hearing" means a hearing held under section 247G.
"presiding Judge" means the judge presiding at the hearing of the proceedings.
(2) In this Division, a reference to the defendant is to be read as including
a reference to the Australian legal practitioner representing the defendant.
