CRIMINAL PROCEDURE ACT 1986 - SECT 29A
Tendency or coincidence--offences to be heard together
29A Tendency or coincidence--offences to be heard together
(1) A court must hear and determine together proceedings for 2 or more
offences if-- (a) the offences are alleged to have been committed by the same
person, and
(b) the offences are-- (i) charged in the same indictment, or
(ii) listed for hearing on the same day and at the same place, and
(c) the
prosecution has given notice that it intends to rely on tendency evidence or
coincidence evidence that relates to more than 1 of the offences.
(2) This
section is subject to section 21(2).
