CRIMINAL PROCEDURE ACT 1986 - SECT 339

339 Limitation on exercise of penalty notice powers

This Part does not authorise a police officer to serve a penalty notice in relation to--

(a) an industrial dispute, or

(b) an apparently genuine demonstration or protest, or

(c) a procession, or

(d) an organised assembly.
