CRIMES (SENTENCING PROCEDURE) ACT 1999 - SECT 17J
Notice of relevant order to be given
17J Notice of relevant order to be given
(1) As soon as practicable after a relevant order is made, the registrar or
another officer of the sentencing court must cause notice of the order to be
given to the offender and to Corrective Services NSW.
(2) The notice must
include such information about the relevant order as may be prescribed by the
regulations.
(3) Notice of an order does not need to be given to
Corrective Services NSW unless the order is subject to a supervision condition
or a community service work condition.
(4) A relevant order is not
invalidated by a failure to comply with this section.
