SCHEDULE 2 – Amendment of Crimes Act 1900 No 40 relating to child sexual assault

(Section 3)

[1] Section 66A Sexual intercourse--child under 10

Omit "imprisonment for 20 years" from the section.
Insert instead "imprisonment for 25 years".

[2] Section 66B Attempting, or assaulting with intent, to have sexual intercourse with child under 10

Omit "imprisonment for 20 years" from the section.
Insert instead "imprisonment for 25 years".

[3] Sections 78H and 78I

Omit the sections.
