His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the National Crime Authority (State Provisions) Act 1984.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to repeal and remake, without any changes in substance, the provisions of the National Crime Authority (State Provisions) Regulation 1995.
This Regulation deals with matters relating to:

(a) the form of search warrants issued under section 12 of the National Crime Authority (State Provisions) Act 1984, and
(b) the serving of summonses requiring persons to appear before the National Crime Authority to give evidence or produce documents and other things, and
(c) the form of warrants for apprehending witnesses.
This Regulation is made under the National Crime Authority (State Provisions) Act 1984, including section 34 (the general regulation-making power).
This Regulation relates to matters of a machinery nature.
This Regulation is made in connection with the staged repeal of statutory rules under Part 3 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1989.
