A person commits a crime if—
(a) the person operates a motor vehicle in a way that damages an emergency vehicle; and
(b) the person knows, or ought reasonably to know, the damaged vehicle is an emergency vehicle; and
(c) the person—(i) intends to damage the emergency vehicle or to injure or endanger the safety of an emergency worker; or(ii) knows, or ought reasonably to know, the person is operating a motor vehicle in a way that will damage an emergency vehicle.
Penalty—Maximum penalty—14 years imprisonment.
