CRIMINAL CODE 1899 - SECT 590AV
Disclosure directions under particular provisions
(1) The court may make a disclosure direction on the court’s own initiative
or on an application made by the accused person.
(2) The court may make a
disclosure direction on the conditions, whether about the circumstances of
disclosure or otherwise, it considers appropriate.
(3) Without limiting
subsection (2) , the court may make a disclosure direction on condition
that— (a) partial disclosure only be made; or
(b) disclosure only be made
to a lawyer acting for the accused person; or
(c) particular persons are
excluded from the room in which the court is sitting for all or part of the
proceedings; or
(d) reporting of the proceedings be limited in a particular
way.
(4) In this section—
"disclosure direction" means a direction for a relevant proceeding under
section 590AO , 590AOA , 590AOB, 590AP , 590AQ , 590AS or 590ASA .
