CRIMINAL PROCEEDS CONFISCATION ACT 2002 - SECT 93ZZU
Request for Attorney-General to return property
93ZZU Request for Attorney-General to return property
(1) This section applies if a person is given a notice under section 93ZZT
relating to property that is still vested in the State.
(2) The person may,
in writing, ask the Attorney-General to return the property to the person.
(3) As soon as practicable after receiving the notice, the Attorney-General
must arrange for the property to be transferred to the applicant or someone
else nominated by the applicant.
(4) The Attorney-General may do or authorise
the doing of anything necessary or convenient to be done for the transfer.
