How to start appeal
66 How to start appeal
(1) A person starts an appeal by filing a notice of appeal with the registrar.
(2) The notice must— (a) be signed by the person or the person’s lawyer;
and
(b) state, briefly and precisely, the grounds of the appeal; and
(c) for
an appeal on a trial judge’s certificate given under the Code , section 668D
(1) (b) , have the certificate fixed to it.
(3) If the notice is not filed in
the appeal period, the person must also file with the registrar— (a) a
notice of application for extension of time for filing the notice of appeal;
and
(b) an affidavit setting out the evidence in support of the application.
