CRIMINAL ASSETS CONFISCATION ACT 2005 - SECT 162

162—Making false statements in notices

A person who makes a false or misleading statement (whether orally, in a document or in any other way) in, or in connection with, a notice under section 160 is guilty of an offence.

Maximum penalty: $5 000 or imprisonment for 1 year.
