CRIMINAL ASSETS CONFISCATION ACT 2005 - SECT 189

189—Making false statements in applications

A person who makes a false or misleading statement (whether orally, in a document or in any other way) in, or in connection with, an application for a search warrant is guilty of an offence.

Maximum penalty: $10 000 or imprisonment for 2 years.
