214—Authorised officers to be issued identity cards
(1) An
authorised officer (other than the DPP or a police officer) must be issued
with an identity card—
(a)
containing the person's name and a photograph of the person; and
(b)
stating that the person is an authorised officer for the purposes of this Act.
(2) An
authorised officer (other than the DPP) must, at the request of a person in
relation to whom the authorised officer intends to exercise any powers under
this Act, produce for the inspection of the person—
(a) in
the case of an authorised officer who is a police officer—his or her
warrant card; or
(b) in
any other case—his or her identity card.
