14B—Abolition of certain common law defences
(1) The following
common law defences are abolished:
(a)
provocation;
(b)
necessity;
(c)
duress;
(d)
marital coercion.
(2) To avoid doubt,
the common law defences abolished by subsection (1) remain available in
respect of offences allegedly committed before the commencement of that
subsection.
