247—Harassment to obtain information about jury's deliberations
(1) A person who
harasses a juror or former juror for the purpose of obtaining information
about the deliberations of a jury is guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty:
In the case of a body corporate—$25 000.
In any other case—$10 000 or imprisonment for 2 years.
(3) For the purposes
of this section, the deliberations of a jury include statements made, opinions
expressed, arguments advanced or votes cast by members of the jury in the
course of their deliberations.
