An order is not required under this Part if information or assistance of a
kind referred to in section 74BR(1) is, at the request of a police
officer or otherwise, provided by a person voluntarily, and any evidence or
information obtained by such voluntary provision of information or assistance
is to be treated as if it were obtained by the lawful exercise of powers
pursuant to an order under this Part.
