Forensic material lawfully obtained under a law of another jurisdiction
(before or after the commencement of this section) may be retained and used in
this State in accordance with this Act despite the fact that the material was
obtained in circumstances in which this Act would not authorise the material
to be obtained, or in accordance with requirements that are less stringent
than (or are otherwise substantively different to) the requirements that would
apply under this Act.
