(1) It is lawful for any person who is justified or protected in the execution of any sentence, process, or warrant, or in making an arrest, to use such force as may be reasonably necessary to overcome any force used in resisting such execution or arrest.(2) It is lawful for a person who is justified or protected from criminal responsibility in the execution of any sentence, process, or warrant, to cause such damage to property as he may believe in good faith and on reasonable grounds to be necessary for the purpose of effecting such execution.
