(1) A person who, while on board an aircraft, assaults, intimidates, or threatens with violence, a member of the crew of the aircraft so as to interfere with the performance by that member of the crew of his functions or duties connected with the operation of the aircraft or so as to lessen his ability to perform those functions or duties is guilty of a crime.Charge: Interference with a member of the crew of an aircraft.(2) In this section member of the crew when used in relation to an aircraft, means a person having duties or functions on board the aircraft.
