(1) If the Crown Law Officer may issue a warrant to the person in charge of that prison to release that person immediately.(a) a person is in a prison, by reason of having been remanded in custody by justices; and(b) justices have committed that person for trial in the Supreme Court for an indictable offence; and(c) a Crown Law Officer decides on the evidence before him or her not to file an indictment against that person for that offence (2) A person in charge of a prison who is provided with a warrant under subsection (1) is to immediately release the person named in the warrant from custody in respect of the offence mentioned in the warrant.
