Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) If the Magistrates' Court makes a direction under section 465C, the applicant for the direction must give notice to all persons known to have an interest in the thing to which the direction applies that the thing is being held or retained as if it were tainted property seized under a warrant under section 79 of the Confiscation Act 1997 by virtue of a direction made under section 465C.
(2) A notice under subsection (1) must be—
(a) given within 7 days after the thing is no longer required for evidentiary purposes under this Act; and
(b) in the prescribed form.
